Questions You NEED To Ask Your Real Estate Agent

In a world where real estate agents are the gate keeper to selling and/or buying a home, it’s crucial to choose the agent.  Much like any other profession, there are a TON of agents available to use.  Do I use a local agent?  Do I use a mega agent?  Do I use an agent I know and already trust?  These are all questions you will need to answer for yourself.  Although in our professional opinion, we recommend you find an experienced agent you can trust.  Working with friends can be tricky, business and relationships don’t always mix.

It’s Friday night and you’re looking for a new place to take your lady to eat.  You grab your mobile phone and open up Yelp.  Once you begin scrolling down the list of available restaurants what do you pay attention to?  Menu?  User reviews?  Pictures of the establishment?  Essentially, you research where you’re going to eat.  You should put the same care and candor into choosing your real estate agent.

When you start looking for Real Estate agents, follow this same process!  Look around on Zillow, the internet, and ask around.  Once you get a list of people you want to speak with, call them or meet with them.  let the agent’s know you are interviewing multiple agents and ask how they can intend on winning your business.  If you feel like you ‘click’ with a potential agent, ask them the following 10 questions to make sure they are the right choice you!
