Most people visiting Washington don’t really get the opportunity to venture away from the Space Needle or Pikes Place. Nestled a little more than an hour north of downtown Seattle, Arlington is a quiet city in northern Snohomish County. Still considered part of the Seattle metropolitan area, the city is on the Stillaguamish River and is adjacent to the city of Marysville.
From 1980 to 2010, Arlington’s population increased by over 450 percent, similar to other areas of Snohomish County. The city has all kinds of activities for people of every age. Recreation, fine dining, farmers markets, Smokey Point’s retail shopping hub, and more. If you are craving a night out in the city, Everett close by and Arlington is in the middle of Vancouver, B.C. and Seattle. The city isn’t what you’re going for? The Cascade mountain range and the Puget Sound are literally minutes away from your front door.
The city of Arlington has always been known for outdoor activities. Hiking, biking, and hanging out at the Stillaguamish riverfront has always been three of the biggest activities in the area. For people going at a bit of a slower pace, Glen Eagle’s golf course is one of our team’s favorite places to visit.
If you’re considering a home in Snohomish County, or maybe just north of Seattle, Arlington’s market is only getting more and more competitive. We encourage you to reach out so that we can help you maximize your goals and get you in or out of the home you really want.
